True Burson carried 17 times for 173 yards and five touchdowns as Silverton defeated Groom, 71-24, in a Six-Man Division II bidistrict game Friday at Happy.
The Owls (7-4) had 413 yards of total offense while limiting the Tigers (4-5) to six first downs. Groom's Taylor Fields rushed nine times for 78 yards.
The game was ended in the fourth quarter by the 45-point rule.
Silverton advances to play Jayton in an area-round game at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Petersburg.
