The Longhorns have been steadily improving their winning percentage since going 0-10 four years ago.

Now the task of bringing a winning season falls in the hands of new coach Todd Rutledge, a former coach at Witharral making his head football coaching debut.

The Lazbuddie program has steadily been bringing more players and fans to Longhorn field over the past few seasons. The team once again will have strong numbers, and with the excitement a new coach and system brings, the upside looks unlimited for the Longhorns.

Players to watch: Kayle Jesko, C-DL; Charles Baca, OL-DL; Colton Hill, ATHL

Basic offense: Strong right.

Basic defense: 3-2

Keys to success: The Longhorns need to take advantage of their height. With six players listed as 6-foot or taller, Lazbuddie needs to go over the top of their smaller six-man opponents, especially since Rutledge said team speed will be a weakness.
